\"E.Edward Morgan Forster, known as E. M. Forster, was an English writer. \u00a0His best known works include A Room with a View<\/em>, Howards End<\/em> and A Passage to India<\/em>.<\/p>\n

  1. Forster\u00a0was born on January 1, 1879. \u00a0Sadly, his father died \u00a0of tuberculosis in 1880. Forster was raised by his mother and his paternal aunts.<\/li>\n
  2. Forster inherited a great deal of money from a paternal aunt \u00a0who passed away in 1887.<\/li>\n
  3. In the 1930s and 1940s Forster was a\u00a0broadcaster on BBC Radio<\/li>\n
  4. Forster died of a stroke on June 7, 1970 in Coventry. He was 91.<\/li>\n
  5. Maurice<\/em>\u00a0was published posthumously. Its\u00a0homosexual themes caused some controversy as Forster’s\u00a0sexual preferences weren’t widely known previously.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
